It’s that time again…each month I document 1 day with other photographer’s around the world and share a little snippet with you here. We call it our Project 10. The months just seem to go by faster and faster! School has been out already for a few weeks. In May, I had the chance to get away with my hubby and 2 other couples to Santa Barbara to run the wine country half marathon. I am not going to make you endure anymore sports pictures though! I thought I’d give you a highlight of our first day. We really got to experience it all…a great downtown, ocean views, mountain views, and beautiful rural towns.
We started our morning off with a walk to Starbuck’s through downtown Santa Barbara. I just LOVE the flowers in California. I could do an entire blog post just on the flowers.
Then we headed to the pier. Everyday it was foggy in the morning and then it would burn off.
We headed out on our open air hummer tour and it was amazing how clear and sunny it was just over the mountain pass into the Santa Ynez Valley.
You can see it was a bit windy. The guys played rocks, paper, scissors to see who had to sit in the windiest seat.
It was a gorgoeous day, in a gorgeous place, with great friends…what more could a girl ask for?
After you check out my day, see what my friend Efi has been doing…all the way from Greece!
