In the same week that I dropped my daughter off for her freshman year in college, I thought it would be fitting to feature the senior pictures of MY roommate from college's daughter who is a rising senior at Cambridge High School. It seems like yesterday (quite literally!) that her mom and I were in college. I can hardly believe between the two of us, we have two college kids and two high schoolers. Time flies my friends!
For anyone who lives in or near Cumming, Georgia, you've probably heard about or driven by Anderson's Sunflower Farm on Highway 9. It is a picture taking tradition around here. In fact, we took Hannah's older sister Emily's senior pictures here a couple of years ago so we had to keep the tradition alive! The sun and colors are so perfect. The trick is to avoid the bees and make it seem like you are the only one there (despite the throngs of people.)
We had a great time getting together and capturing these photos of an amazing girl!

Hannah is very involved in Camp Jenny. She's taken on a leadership role in the camp and has made some amazing friends there. If you've never heard of it, Camp Jenny is held every Memorial Day weekend and gives children the opportunity to receive the love of big “brothers and sisters,” three nutritious meals a day, and encouragement for the future. The kids also enjoy activities such as rock climbing, water play, science lab, arts and crafts, and a variety of sports and team building activities. It's fitting that Hannah wanted to include her Camp Jenny shirt in her senior pictures.

I am really lucky to have such great friends who trust me to capture their daughters at this amazing time in their life! What I wish for these girls and my girls as well, is that they will find life-long friends when they go off to college just like I did!!
